Fun with Foursquare Check-in

Foursquare is a web app to connect you & your friends for social over the mobile devices. It is encourage by giving the rewards – Point & Badge or to be Mayor. If you are interesting, you can sign up for free new account & download app at http://foursquare.com/

Go to your account setting to make sure your app and the internet are connect, and check your information & privacy are correct. You have to connect to spare the world with your friends with twitter & faceook or gmail accounts. You can also find or invite new friends to connect with you.

Let’s play around with the menu bar at the bottom

Friends: You can add more friends here

Places: You can type any place in search area, when you find it then click “check in here” button. You can also add message to your friend. The message will show that you get the badges and points reward.

Explore: As the same places button, you can explore in any area and separate category then Check- in

To-Do-List: Add to do list & tips here

Your name: You will see how many places & badges which you check in, and points reward.

Foursquare for your business:

Foursquare is similar to “Google Places”, but there is more fun getting the rewards,

than just list your business over the internet.

For business purpose, you have to create your business account first,

then go to search area, and type your business name, then click the link to get the “Venue”

You have to add your business address, then follow the steps to complete form & add venue

In addition, you can add promotion, special & tips & award badges for those who Check-in your place,

then see the result in the venue states.
