Review: HTML5 Multimedia Development Cookbook
58
This book is the next step & more advance from the basic of HTML5 & CSS3. The author demonstrated with the sample codes, which were very helpful and easy to follow step by step. He tested with different browsers, which supports HTML5 as well. When you catch up with him to the new HTML5 webpage, you will see the idea and how to add HTML5 multimedia around it.
Here are the lists:
· HTML5 accessibility - using modernizr – javascript library, adding skip navigation and screen reader, displaying alternate content for non-supported browsersetc.
· Form – create and styling of form using HTML5 & CSS3 etc.
· Using Canvan – setting up canvas environment, processing shapes dynamically, and drawing borders for images using canvas etc.
· Interactivity using javascript - playing audio files with javascript, using drag-and-drop API with text, displaying video dynamically using jQuery and random animation with audio etc.
· Audio & Video - creating accessible audio and video and embedding audio, crafting a slick audio playerand video for mobile devices etc.
· Data Storage - testing browsers for data storage support, setting and getting a local storage variable, creating & using a web SQL database etc.
I would recommend this book.

Garuna, out of all of the HTML 5 books you have reviewed which one do you think is the best for an intermediate to advanced designer/developer?
